The Decent Harley Group
The Harley group was founded in 1983 to bring together Harley Davison customers and to establish a strong bond between them.
The Harley group is not an outlaw group, though members of this group ride chopper style Harley Davidson bikes and more or less dress similar to the outlaw gangs. Grizzly hair, tattoos, chunky jewelry, beards and leather jackets are adopted by the Harley gang too.
This group is recognized by the American Motorcyclist Association and abides by its rules and regulations whereas outlaw groups are rejected by this Association. However, cultivating an outlaw mystique is enjoyed by the members though they are law abiding citizens.
Their main aim is to endorse to promote a product as well as a culture or lifestyle. Members of this gang will spend more on Harley products than others to maintain their image as well as on Harley Davidson sponsored events. This in turn promotes sales and helps the company to grow.
A lot of events are organized by this group like bike shows and rallies and the proceeds are given to some charitable organizations.
